SEI Group, Incorporated (SEI)
is a minority owned Huntsville, Alabama
Corporation. Eloy Torrez, a registered
professional engineer, founded SEI in 1996.
SEI was certified by the Small Business Administration (SBA) for the 8(a)
program on April 9, 1997 as a full service engineering,
construction, and Facility Support firm with headquarters at 303 Williams Avenue,
Huntsville, Alabama, 35801. Since then, SEI has demonstrated continued
growth in revenues each year. Our sales and number of employees reflect this
steady growth on a year over year comparison. SEI contains a diversified range
of technical and management expertise, including mechanical, electrical and
civil engineers,
architects, security specialists, CADD technicians, facility support
specialists, support staff as well as construction managers and management
professionals.
SEI's major customers include the US Army Corps of
Engineers, US Naval Facilities Engineering Service Center, Federal Emergency
Management Agency, US Air Force, US Army, NASA, Department of Commerce,
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Defense Threat Reduction Agency,
Department of Homeland Security and the
Social Security Administration. Customer satisfaction on our many projects
is a major reason for our growth.
Hispanic Business Magazine has ranked SEI
as the 2nd fastest growing Hispanic Business in 2003 and has been
in the Hispanic Business 500 from 2002 through 2005. In addition, in 2002 SEI was the
recipient of the Small Business Administrations Administrators Award for
Excellence
as a result of being nominated by the US Army Engineering and Support
Center.
Inc. Magazine 500 listed SEI as the
fastest growing privately held firm in 2004.
SEI carries a $30 Million bonding capacity ($15
Million/Project) and has completed over 300 projects in 17 countries.
